A Little About Me
I’m Dawn, a nature photographer based in the quiet woods and winding backroads of Wisconsin. I’ve always felt most at home outdoors — breathing in pine air, listening to water move over stone, and watching light shift across the landscape. Photography became my way of holding onto those moments, preserving the calm and beauty that so often slip by unnoticed.
My work is rooted in patience, curiosity, and a deep respect for the natural world. I move slowly when I shoot, letting scenes unfold instead of chasing them. Whether I’m hiking along a misty trail at sunrise, waiting for wildlife to emerge, or standing knee‑deep in a river to capture the perfect waterfall shot, I’m always searching for the quiet details that tell a bigger story.
Wisconsin’s seasons shape much of my photography — the soft greens of spring, the bold summer sun, the fiery fall colors, and the stillness of winter. Each one brings its own personality, and I love exploring how light, texture, and mood shift throughout the year.
Beyond the camera, I’m someone who values simplicity, authenticity, and connection. I believe nature has a way of grounding us, and my goal is to create images that offer that same sense of peace and presence. Whether you’re here to explore my galleries, purchase prints, or simply enjoy a moment of stillness, I’m grateful you’ve stopped by.
Thank you for supporting my work and sharing in the beauty of the natural world with me.
